For the past 28 years Tony Drexel Smith has served small to medium enterprise (SME) business owners, start-up entrepreneurs and the business capital community by serving as a Subject Matter expert specializing in the development and execution of professional-grade business finance documentation and valuations. He has published numerous works including the The Certified Business Plan and The Essential Handbook for Small Business. He graduated from the University of La Verne with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration Cum Laude.
For more than 15 years Leslye Galati has been serving small to medium enterprises in the capitalization process. She is an expert in documentation, compliance, and due diligence. Ms. Galati has been a Senior Project Manager since 2003 having managed more than 200 companies through her executive management roles at US Capital Global, Blue Moon Advisors, LLC, US Business Incubator, SUMATICI, Inc. and SoCalBizOps, Inc. Ms. Galati serves Daemon Advisors Licensees, Enterprises and Advisors in the critical areas of compliance and administration.
After an undergraduate degree in economics at Yale, two years as an officer in the US Navy, and being awarded an MBA in marketing from Northwestern, Mr. Knudsen served as CEO of the family business for twelve years. Subsequently, he founded a manufacturer’s representative business in the high-rise automated warehouse field. Later he co-founded a heavy-duty alternator manufacturing business. Mr. Knudsen has served as a member of the Board of Directors and member of the compensation and audit committees of NetBrain Technologies, Inc. for the past fifteen years and currently serves as Treasurer, CFO and Board Member of CAPIZATE, INC.
Over 35 years of entrepreneurship and business management experience in sales, marketing, developing and managing technology, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and business automation solutions across a variety of industries. Founder of a business software manufacturing company. Founder of a business consulting company. Mr. Young possesses startup, management and technical experience in many different industries and functional areas including expertise in: internet marketing; sales and sales processes; operations; business automation; software design, development and implementation; supply chain and vendor management; distribution; logistics and EDI; manufacturing; and accounting.
Gavin currently leads global commercialization for, SmIileyscope, a pediatric DTX start-up that recently completed their $7M seed round. He serves as a board member for Daemon Advisors, and advises numerous early stage Medtech and defense companies poised to enter the market. He holds an undergrad from the United States Naval Academy and completed his master’s at Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business. Prior to his career in Medtech, Mr. West served as a Marine Officer and conducted numerous combat tours in infantry, intelligence, and special operations roles.
Stephen is an experienced international lawyer and business developer with a broad background in technology, finance, and international business operations. Military experience as an officer abord nuclear powered submarines, and top-level executive experience with United Technologies Corporation and Praxair have given him extensive operating knowledge in international business, energy systems, industrial gases, and multiple industrial technologies. He is a member of several venture investment groups and serves on the boards of directors of several privately held technology and small business enterprises. He has a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA from Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute, and a JD from University of Connecticut School of Law. He is also a licensed private pilot.
